How to use it on iPhone
- Copy the post linkIn the X app, open the post with the video, tap the Share icon under the post and choose “Copy link”.
- Open SaveXClips in SafariGo to savexclips.com in Safari on your iPhone. Any modern browser works; Safari is just the default.

X “GIFs” are really MP4 videos
When a GIF is uploaded, X converts it to a small, silent, looping MP4. That’s why GIFs on X look sharper and load faster than real GIF files.

Need an actual .gif file?
Some forums and older apps only accept .gif. Download the MP4 here, then convert it with any “MP4 to GIF” tool. Expect a larger file, since the GIF format is far less efficient.
Where the files go on iPhone
Safari saves downloads to the Files app, in iCloud Drive › Downloads (or On My iPhone › Downloads if iCloud Drive is off).
To move a video to the Photos app, open it in Files, tap Share and choose “Save Video”. It then appears in your Camera Roll like any recording.

Why did my GIF download as MP4?
